  Our Nursery          Ages 0-18 months
In the infant room it is our goal to make the babies feel safe, secure, and loved. We give them lots of opportunities to explore, learn, and develop- each at his or her own pace. We offer varied play equipment and activities which foster social, emotional, large and small muscle, and language skills.
We strive to maintain a 1:3 ratio in the infant room, the state required ratio is 1:5.

Toddler I Ages 18 months - 30 months
Toddler I provides a creative and fun environment for young toddlers to develop physically, socially, and intellectually. Social experiences are provided through art, music, story time and free play- both inside and outside the classroom. Each child's unique personality is celebrated.

Toddler II   Ages 30 months - 42 months
In Toddler II we begin growing in independence. The children learn self-help skills, communication, socialization, potty training, and grow in reading and writing awareness. We learn through play, song, literature, and active involvement.

Pre-School  Ages 3 1/2  -  4 1/2
The preschool class is a "bridge" between the toddler and pre-k classes. Our main emphasis is on social skills- helping children get along in a group setting. We incorporate art, science, social studies, literacy, and math in our planning and activities.

Pre-K  Ages 4 1/2 - Kindergarten entry
In pre-K we prepare for elementary school by focusing on functioning independently in the classroom and fine-tuning social skills. Academically, our curriculum builds mathematic, scientific, and literary abilities through both structured activities and spontaneous exploration.

Afternoon Kindergarten Care
Our kindergarten program is aligned with curriculum for Upper Arlington schools. We use the same phonics/reading curriculum and also follow the new math program. We do daily writing/drawing in journals as well as calendar and weather observations. There is also lots of time for socialization, free choice activities, and dramatic play.
